Ayah: 6

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِن جَآءَكُمۡ فَاسِقُۢ بِنَبَإٖ فَتَبَيَّنُوٓاْ أَن تُصِيبُواْ قَوۡمَۢا بِجَهَٰلَةٖ فَتُصۡبِحُواْ عَلَىٰ مَا فَعَلۡتُمۡ نَٰدِمِينَ

O voi che credete in Allāh e che fate ciò che Egli ha ordinato, se giunge da voi un licenzioso con informazioni che riguardano un popolo, accertatevi della sua veridicità e non affrettatevi a credergli, per timore che, se credeste alla sua informazione senza accertarvene, potreste commettere un crimine contro la gente, ignorando la verità dei fatti, e potreste rimpiangere ciò che avete fatto, quando verrebbe rivelata la falsità della sua informazione.

• Sulla necessità di verificare la veridicità delle notizie, in particolare quelle trasmesse da una persona accusata di essere licenziosa.

• وجوب الإصلاح بين من يتقاتل من المسلمين، ومشروعية قتال الطائفة التي تصر على الاعتداء وترفض الصلح.

• Sulla necessità di pacificare due fazioni musulmane che si combattono, e la legittimità di combattere la fazione che insiste sull'aggressività e che rifiuta la riconciliazione.

• من حقوق الأخوة الإيمانية: الصلح بين المتنازعين والبعد عما يجرح المشاعر من السخرية والعيب والتنابز بالألقاب.

• Alcuni dei diritti della fratellanza nella fede sono la riconciliazione tra due avversari e tenersi a distanza dal commettere atti offensivi, come deridere o attribuire appellativi indesiderabili.
