Ayah: 113

قَالُواْ نُرِيدُ أَن نَّأۡكُلَ مِنۡهَا وَتَطۡمَئِنَّ قُلُوبُنَا وَنَعۡلَمَ أَن قَدۡ صَدَقۡتَنَا وَنَكُونَ عَلَيۡهَا مِنَ ٱلشَّٰهِدِينَ

Gli apostoli dissero a ‘Īsā: "Vogliamo mangiare da questa mensa e rasserenare i nostri cuori sul fatto che Allāh sia l'Onnipotente e che in verità tu sia il Suo Messaggero. Dobbiamo essere certi che, in verità, ciò che hai rivelato proviene da Allāh, e ne saremo testimoni per gli assenti".

Sulla prova che Allāh radunerà tutti, nel Giorno del Giudizio, da colui che possiede rango elevato al più umile.

• إثبات بشرية المسيح عليه السلام وإثبات آياته الحسية من إحياء الموتى وإبراء الأكمه والأبرص التي أجراها الله على يديه.

Sulla prova che il Messiah, pace a lui, sia un essere umano e la prova che i suoi evidenti miracoli, come resuscitare i morti o guarire il cieco e il lebbroso, siano azioni che Allāh ha compiuto per suo tramite.

• بيان أن آيات الأنبياء تهدف لتثبيت الأتباع وإفحام المخالفين، وأنها ليست من تلقاء أنفسهم، بل تأتي بإذن الله تعالى.

Sul chiarimento dello scopo dei miracoli dei profeti: Rafforzare i seguaci e convincere gli avversi, e sul fatto che non accaddero per loro iniziativa; piuttosto, accaddero per volere di Allāh l'Altissimo.
