Translation of the meanings Ayah: (59) Surah: Al-Isrā’
وَمَا مَنَعَنَآ أَن نُّرۡسِلَ بِٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ إِلَّآ أَن كَذَّبَ بِهَا ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَۚ وَءَاتَيۡنَا ثَمُودَ ٱلنَّاقَةَ مُبۡصِرَةٗ فَظَلَمُواْ بِهَاۚ وَمَا نُرۡسِلُ بِٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ إِلَّا تَخۡوِيفٗا
E niente ci ha impedito di inviare i Segni, ma furono smentiti dagli antichi. E abbiamo dato a Thamud la cammella come evidente segno, e con questa caddero nel peccato. E noi non inviamo mai i Segni se non allo scopo d’incutere timore.
