Translation of the meanings Ayah: (236) Surah: Al-Baqarah
لَّا جُنَاحَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ إِن طَلَّقۡتُمُ ٱلنِّسَآءَ مَا لَمۡ تَمَسُّوهُنَّ أَوۡ تَفۡرِضُواْ لَهُنَّ فَرِيضَةٗۚ وَمَتِّعُوهُنَّ عَلَى ٱلۡمُوسِعِ قَدَرُهُۥ وَعَلَى ٱلۡمُقۡتِرِ قَدَرُهُۥ مَتَٰعَۢا بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِۖ حَقًّا عَلَى ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
Non c’è colpa per voi se divorzierete dalle donne che non avete toccato e a cui non avete ancora promesso la dote. Date loro – il ricco secondo le proprie possibilità e il povero secondo le proprie – un certo compenso, benevolmente: dovere per i pii.
