Translation of the meanings Ayah: (96) Surah: Al-Baqarah
وَلَتَجِدَنَّهُمۡ أَحۡرَصَ ٱلنَّاسِ عَلَىٰ حَيَوٰةٖ وَمِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَشۡرَكُواْۚ يَوَدُّ أَحَدُهُمۡ لَوۡ يُعَمَّرُ أَلۡفَ سَنَةٖ وَمَا هُوَ بِمُزَحۡزِحِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ أَن يُعَمَّرَۗ وَٱللَّهُ بَصِيرُۢ بِمَا يَعۡمَلُونَ
E troverai che sono i più attaccati alla vita, come gli idolatri. Ognuno di loro desidera vivere mille anni, ma vivere a lungo non li salverà dalla punizione. E Allāh è Osservatore di ciò che fanno.
