Translation of the meanings Ayah: (66) Surah: An-Nisā’
وَلَوۡ أَنَّا كَتَبۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ أَنِ ٱقۡتُلُوٓاْ أَنفُسَكُمۡ أَوِ ٱخۡرُجُواْ مِن دِيَٰرِكُم مَّا فَعَلُوهُ إِلَّا قَلِيلٞ مِّنۡهُمۡۖ وَلَوۡ أَنَّهُمۡ فَعَلُواْ مَا يُوعَظُونَ بِهِۦ لَكَانَ خَيۡرٗا لَّهُمۡ وَأَشَدَّ تَثۡبِيتٗا
Se avessimo ordinato loro: «Uccidetevi!”, o: “Uscite dalle vostre case!», non l’avrebbero fatto, tranne pochi di loro. E se avessero fatto ciò che è stato loro consigliato, sarebbe stato meglio per loro, e migliore mezzo alla fermezza.
