Ayah: 138

وَجَٰوَزۡنَا بِبَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَ فَأَتَوۡاْ عَلَىٰ قَوۡمٖ يَعۡكُفُونَ عَلَىٰٓ أَصۡنَامٖ لَّهُمۡۚ قَالُواْ يَٰمُوسَى ٱجۡعَل لَّنَآ إِلَٰهٗا كَمَا لَهُمۡ ءَالِهَةٞۚ قَالَ إِنَّكُمۡ قَوۡمٞ تَجۡهَلُونَ
Poi facemmo attraversare il mare ai figli d’Israīl, e trovarono un popolo che adorava alcuni idoli, che possedevano. Dissero: «Mūsā, realizza per noi un idolo simile a quelli che hanno loro!» Disse: «In verità siete un popolo ignorante!
