Translation of the meanings Ayah: (114) Surah: At-Tawbah
وَمَا كَانَ ٱسۡتِغۡفَارُ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ لِأَبِيهِ إِلَّا عَن مَّوۡعِدَةٖ وَعَدَهَآ إِيَّاهُ فَلَمَّا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُۥٓ أَنَّهُۥ عَدُوّٞ لِّلَّهِ تَبَرَّأَ مِنۡهُۚ إِنَّ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ لَأَوَّٰهٌ حَلِيمٞ
E la supplica d’Ibrāhīm per suo padre non era dovuta se non a una promessa che gli aveva fatto; ma quando si mostrò che era un nemico di Allāh, lo sconfessò: in verità Ibrāhīm era buono e benevolo.
