لَا یُؤَاخِذُكُمُ اللّٰهُ بِاللَّغْوِ فِیْۤ اَیْمَانِكُمْ وَلٰكِنْ یُّؤَاخِذُكُمْ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ قُلُوْبُكُمْ ؕ— وَاللّٰهُ غَفُوْرٌ حَلِیْمٌ ۟
ಅನೈಚ್ಛಿಕ (ಅರ್ಥಶೂನ್ಯ) ಶಪಥಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಅಲ್ಲಾಹನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಪೂರ್ವಕ ಶಪಥಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ನಡೆಸುವನು ಮತ್ತು ಅಲ್ಲಾಹನು ಕ್ಷಮಾಶೀಲನೂ, ವಿವೇಕಪೂರ್ಣನೂ ಆಗಿರುವನು.
