Ayah: 87

قَالُوْا مَاۤ اَخْلَفْنَا مَوْعِدَكَ بِمَلْكِنَا وَلٰكِنَّا حُمِّلْنَاۤ اَوْزَارًا مِّنْ زِیْنَةِ الْقَوْمِ فَقَذَفْنٰهَا فَكَذٰلِكَ اَلْقَی السَّامِرِیُّ ۟ۙ
ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು: ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಇಚ್ಛೆಯಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗಿನ ಕರಾರನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲಂಘಿಸಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾವು ಜನರ ಆಭರಣಗಳ ಹೊರೆಯನ್ನು ಹೇರಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೆವು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾವು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟೆವು ಮತ್ತು ಅದೇ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಸಾಮಿರಿಯು ಸಹ ತನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
