Ayah: 21

وَقَالَ الَّذِیْنَ لَا یَرْجُوْنَ لِقَآءَنَا لَوْلَاۤ اُنْزِلَ عَلَیْنَا الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةُ اَوْ نَرٰی رَبَّنَا ؕ— لَقَدِ اسْتَكْبَرُوْا فِیْۤ اَنْفُسِهِمْ وَعَتَوْ عُتُوًّا كَبِیْرًا ۟
ನಮ್ಮ ಭೇಟಿಯ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಿಲ್ಲದವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ: ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಲಕ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಏಕೆ ಇಳಿಸಲಾಗಿಲ್ಲಾ? ಅಥವಾ ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಭುವನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ನೋಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೇಕೆ? ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಅವರು ಅಹಂಭಾವಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಾ ಅತಿಕ್ರಮವನ್ನುತೋರಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
