وَقَالَتْ طَّآىِٕفَةٌ مِّنْ اَهْلِ الْكِتٰبِ اٰمِنُوْا بِالَّذِیْۤ اُنْزِلَ عَلَی الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَجْهَ النَّهَارِ وَاكْفُرُوْۤا اٰخِرَهٗ لَعَلَّهُمْ یَرْجِعُوْنَ ۟ۚۖ
ಗ್ರಂಥದವರ ಪೈಕಿ ಒಂದು ಪಂಗಡದವರು (ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಸಂಚು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ) ಹೇಳಿದರು: ನೀವು ಹಗಲಿನ ಆರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅವತೀರ್ಣಗೊಂಡಿರುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ (ಕುರ್‌ಆನ್) ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವಿಡಿರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದನ್ನು ನಿಷೇಧಿಸಿರಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಈ ಜನರು ಸಹ ವಿಮುಖರಾಗಿ ಬಿಡಬಹುದು.
