Ayah: 1

اَلْحَآقَّةُ ۟ۙ
ಸಂಭವಿಸಿಬಿಡುವಂತದ್ದು!

مَا الْحَآقَّةُ ۟ۚ
ಏನದು ಸಂಭವಿಸಿಬಿಡುವಂತದ್ದು ?

وَمَاۤ اَدْرٰىكَ مَا الْحَآقَّةُ ۟ؕ
ಆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿಬಿಡುವಂತದ್ದು ಏನೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೇನು ಗೊತ್ತು ?

كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُوْدُ وَعَادٌ بِالْقَارِعَةِ ۟
ಸಮೂದ್ ಮತ್ತು ಆದ್ ಜನಾಂಗವು ಭಯಂಕರವಾಗಿ ಸದ್ದೆಬ್ಬಿಸುವಂತಹದ್ದನ್ನು (ಪ್ರಳಯ) ನಿಷೇಧಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು.

فَاَمَّا ثَمُوْدُ فَاُهْلِكُوْا بِالطَّاغِیَةِ ۟
ಸಮೂದ್ ಜನಾಂಗವು ಭೀಕರವಾದ ಒಂದು ರ‍್ಭಟದ ಮೂಲಕ ನಾಶಕ್ಕೀಡಾಯಿತು.

وَاَمَّا عَادٌ فَاُهْلِكُوْا بِرِیْحٍ صَرْصَرٍ عَاتِیَةٍ ۟ۙ
ಮತ್ತು ಆದ್ ಸಮುದಾಯದವರು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ವೇಗದ ಶೀತಲ ಚಂಡಮಾರುತದ ಮೂಲಕ ನಾಶ ಮಾಡಲಾದರು.

سَخَّرَهَا عَلَیْهِمْ سَبْعَ لَیَالٍ وَّثَمٰنِیَةَ اَیَّامٍ ۙ— حُسُوْمًا فَتَرَی الْقَوْمَ فِیْهَا صَرْعٰی ۙ— كَاَنَّهُمْ اَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ خَاوِیَةٍ ۟ۚ
ಅವನು (ಅಲ್ಲಾಹನು) ಅದನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಏಳು ರಾತ್ರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಎಂಟು ಹಗಲಿನವರೆಗೆ ಹೇರಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು. ಆಗ ಮುಗುಚಿಬಿದ್ದ ರ‍್ಜೂರ ಮರದ ಟೊಳ್ಳಾದ ಕಾಂಡಗಳಂತೆ ಅವರು ಬಿದ್ದಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನೀವು ಕಾಣುತ್ತೀರಿ.

فَهَلْ تَرٰی لَهُمْ مِّنْ بَاقِیَةٍ ۟
ಏನು ನೀವು ಅವರ ಪೈಕಿ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಉಳಿದಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಾಣುತ್ತೀರಾ ?
