Translation of the meanings Ayah: (224) Surah: Al-Baqarah
وَلَا تَجْعَلُوا اللّٰهَ عُرْضَةً لِّاَیْمَانِكُمْ اَنْ تَبَرُّوْا وَتَتَّقُوْا وَتُصْلِحُوْا بَیْنَ النَّاسِ ؕ— وَاللّٰهُ سَمِیْعٌ عَلِیْمٌ ۟
ಒಳಿತು ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನು, ದೇವಭಯದಿಂದ ಜೀವಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಜನರ ನಡುವೆ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಲ್ಲಾಹನನ್ನು ಗುರಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಡಿ.[1] ಅಲ್ಲಾಹು ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವವನು ಮತ್ತು ತಿಳಿದವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
[1] ಅಂದರೆ, ನಾನು ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಒಳಿತು ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ನಾನು ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಇವನೊಡನೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ, ನಾನು ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಇವರಿಬ್ಬರ ನಡುವೆ ರಾಜಿ ಮಾಡುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬಿತ್ಯಾದಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಡಿ. ಈ ರೀತಿ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆ ಮಾಡಿದವರು ಪರಿಹಾರ ನೀಡಿ ಆ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಹಿಂಪಡೆಯಬೇಕು.
