Translation of the meanings Ayah: (59) Surah: Al-Baqarah
فَبَدَّلَ الَّذِیْنَ ظَلَمُوْا قَوْلًا غَیْرَ الَّذِیْ قِیْلَ لَهُمْ فَاَنْزَلْنَا عَلَی الَّذِیْنَ ظَلَمُوْا رِجْزًا مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ بِمَا كَانُوْا یَفْسُقُوْنَ ۟۠
ಆದರೆ ಆ ಅಕ್ರಮಿಗಳು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಲಾದ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಿದರು.[1] ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, ನಾವು ಆ ಅಕ್ರಮಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ—ಅವರು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ದುಷ್ಕರ್ಮಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ—ಆಕಾಶದಿಂದ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಇಳಿಸಿದೆವು.
[1] ಅವರು ಸಾಷ್ಟಾಂಗ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬದಲು, ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ನೆಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಳೆಯುತ್ತಾ ಎದೆಯುಬ್ಬಿಸಿ ಅಹಂಕಾರದಿಂದ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದರು. ಹಿತ್ತ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವುದರ ಬದಲಿಗೆ ಬೇರೊಂದು ಮಾತನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಇದರಿಂದ ಅವರ ಅಹಂಕಾರ ಮತ್ತು ದೈವಿಕ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗೆ ಅವರು ತೋರುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ತಿರಸ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥೈಸಬಹುದು.
