Translation of the meanings Ayah: (24) Surah: Al-Mu’minūn
فَقَالَ الْمَلَؤُا الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ قَوْمِهٖ مَا هٰذَاۤ اِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ ۙ— یُرِیْدُ اَنْ یَّتَفَضَّلَ عَلَیْكُمْ ؕ— وَلَوْ شَآءَ اللّٰهُ لَاَنْزَلَ مَلٰٓىِٕكَةً ۖۚ— مَّا سَمِعْنَا بِهٰذَا فِیْۤ اٰبَآىِٕنَا الْاَوَّلِیْنَ ۟ۚۖ
ಆಗ ಅವರ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಸತ್ಯನಿಷೇಧಿ ಮುಖಂಡರು ಹೇಳಿದರು: “ಇವನು ನಿಮ್ಮಂತಿರುವ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಮಾತ್ರ. ಇವನು ನಿಮಗಿಂತಲೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನಾಗಲು ಬಯಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಅಲ್ಲಾಹು ಇಚ್ಛಿಸಿದ್ದರೆ ದೇವದೂತರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಜರ ಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಇಂತಹ ಒಂದು ಸುದ್ದಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಯೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
