Ayah: 35

اِذْ قَالَتِ امْرَاَتُ عِمْرٰنَ رَبِّ اِنِّیْ نَذَرْتُ لَكَ مَا فِیْ بَطْنِیْ مُحَرَّرًا فَتَقَبَّلْ مِنِّیْ ۚ— اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ السَّمِیْعُ الْعَلِیْمُ ۟
ಇಮ್ರಾನರ ಪತ್ನಿ ಹೇಳಿದ ಸಂದರ್ಭ: “ಓ ನನ್ನ ಪರಿಪಾಲಕನೇ! ನನ್ನ ಗರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರಗೊಳಿಸುವೆನೆಂದು[1] ಹರಕೆ ಹೊತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನೀನು ಅದನ್ನು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸು. ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ನೀನು ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವವನು ಮತ್ತು ತಿಳಿದವನಾಗಿರುವೆ.”
[1] ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರಗೊಳಿಸುವುದು ಎಂದರೆ ಬೈತುಲ್ ಮುಕದ್ದಿಸ್‌ನ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡುವುದು.
