Ayah: 1

اَلْحَآقَّةُ ۟ۙ
ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಸಂಭವಿಸುವಂತದ್ದು.

وَمَاۤ اَدْرٰىكَ مَا الْحَآقَّةُ ۟ؕ
ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಸಂಭವಿಸುವಂತದ್ದು ಏನೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೇನು ಗೊತ್ತು?

كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُوْدُ وَعَادٌ بِالْقَارِعَةِ ۟
ಸಮೂದ್ ಮತ್ತು ಆದ್ ಗೋತ್ರದವರು ಆ ಭಯಾನಕ ಘಟನೆಯನ್ನು (ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು) ನಿಷೇಧಿಸಿದರು.

فَاَمَّا ثَمُوْدُ فَاُهْلِكُوْا بِالطَّاغِیَةِ ۟
ಸಮೂದ್ ಗೋತ್ರದವರನ್ನು ಮಿತಿಮೀರಿದ (ಭಯಾನಕ ಸದ್ದಿನ) ಮೂಲಕ ನಾಶ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು.

وَاَمَّا عَادٌ فَاُهْلِكُوْا بِرِیْحٍ صَرْصَرٍ عَاتِیَةٍ ۟ۙ
ಆದ್ ಗೋತ್ರದವರನ್ನು ಅತಿಶೀತ ಉಗ್ರ ಗಾಳಿಯ ಮೂಲಕ ನಾಶ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು.

سَخَّرَهَا عَلَیْهِمْ سَبْعَ لَیَالٍ وَّثَمٰنِیَةَ اَیَّامٍ ۙ— حُسُوْمًا فَتَرَی الْقَوْمَ فِیْهَا صَرْعٰی ۙ— كَاَنَّهُمْ اَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ خَاوِیَةٍ ۟ۚ
ಅಲ್ಲಾಹು ಅದನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಏಳು ರಾತ್ರಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಎಂಟು ದಿನಗಳ ಕಾಲ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಹೇರಿದನು; ನಂತರ ಆ ಜನರು—ಕುಸಿದು ಬಿದ್ದ ಖರ್ಜೂರ ಮರಗಳ ಕಾಂಡಗಳೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ—ಬೋರಲು ಬಿದ್ದು ಸತ್ತಿರುವುದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕಾಣಬಹುದು.

فَهَلْ تَرٰی لَهُمْ مِّنْ بَاقِیَةٍ ۟
ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಬಾಕಿಯುಳಿದದ್ದನ್ನು ನೀವು ಕಂಡಿದ್ದೀರಾ?
