At- Takaasur

Ayah: 1

أَلۡهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ
1. Varžymasis (žemiškųjų dalykų) kaupime atitraukia jus,

Ayah: 2

حَتَّىٰ زُرۡتُمُ ٱلۡمَقَابِرَ
2. kol aplankysite kapus (t. y. mirsite).

كَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ
3. Ne! Jūs greitai sužinosite!

ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ
4. Tad ne! Jūs greitai sužinosite!

كَلَّا لَوۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ عِلۡمَ ٱلۡيَقِينِ
5. Ne, jei tik jūs žinotumėte užtikrintu žinojimu (t. y. nebūtumėte atsitraukę nuo pasiruošimo Pomirtiniam gyvenimui)…

لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلۡجَحِيمَ
6. Jūs tikrai pamatysite Pragarą!

ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيۡنَ ٱلۡيَقِينِ
7. Tada jūs tikrai pamatysite tai užtikrintomis akimis!

ثُمَّ لَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ يَوۡمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
8. Tada jūs tikrai būsite paklausti Tą Dieną apie malonumus (kuriais mėgavotės šiame gyvenime)!
