اِیَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَاِیَّاكَ نَسْتَعِیْنُ ۟ؕ
നിന്നെ മാത്രം ഞങ്ങള്‍ ആരാധിക്കുന്നു. നിന്നോട് മാത്രം ഞങ്ങള്‍ സഹായം തേടുന്നു(1)
1 ആരാധനയും സഹായാര്‍ഥനയും അഭേദ്യമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട കാര്യങ്ങളാണ്. മനുഷ്യര്‍ വിവിധ വ്യക്തികളെയും ശക്തികളെയും ആരാധിച്ചുപോന്നിട്ടുള്ളത് ആരാധ്യരില്‍നിന്ന് അഭൗതികമായ രീതിയില്‍ സഹായം ലഭിക്കുമെന്ന പ്രതീക്ഷയിലാണ്. പ്രപഞ്ചനാഥനല്ലാത്തവരോട് അഭൗതികമായ സഹായത്തിനുവേണ്ടി പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുന്നത് ഇസ്‌ലാം പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഏകദൈവത്വത്തിന് വിരുദ്ധമത്രെ.
