Translation of the meanings Ayah: (5) Surah: Hūd
اَلَاۤ اِنَّهُمْ یَثْنُوْنَ صُدُوْرَهُمْ لِیَسْتَخْفُوْا مِنْهُ ؕ— اَلَا حِیْنَ یَسْتَغْشُوْنَ ثِیَابَهُمْ ۙ— یَعْلَمُ مَا یُسِرُّوْنَ وَمَا یُعْلِنُوْنَ ۚ— اِنَّهٗ عَلِیْمٌۢ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُوْرِ ۟
ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക: അവനില്‍ നിന്ന് (അല്ലാഹുവില്‍ നിന്ന്) ഒളിക്കാന്‍ വേണ്ടി അവര്‍ തങ്ങളുടെ നെഞ്ചുകള്‍ മടക്കിക്കളയുന്നു.(2) ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക: അവര്‍ തങ്ങളുടെ വസ്ത്രങ്ങള്‍കൊണ്ട് പുതച്ച് മൂടുമ്പോള്‍ പോലും അവര്‍ രഹസ്യമാക്കുന്നതും പരസ്യമാക്കുന്നതും അവന്‍ അറിയുന്നു. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവന്‍ നെഞ്ചുകളിലുള്ളത് അറിയുന്നവനാകുന്നു.
2) സത്യത്തിലേക്ക് ക്ഷണിക്കപ്പെട്ടാല്‍ തല പറ്റെ താഴ്ത്തിക്കൊണ്ട് ഒളിച്ചുപതുങ്ങി പോയിരുന്ന ആളുകളെ പറ്റിയാണ് ഈ വചനമെന്നാണ് ഒരു വ്യാഖ്യാനം. 'നെഞ്ചുകള്‍ മടക്കുന്നു' എന്നതിന് ദേഷ്യം ഉളളിലൊതുക്കുന്നു എന്ന് അര്‍ത്ഥം കല്പിച്ച വ്യാഖ്യാതാക്കളുമുണ്ട്.
