Translation of the meanings Ayah: (186) Surah: Al-Baqarah
وَاِذَا سَاَلَكَ عِبَادِیْ عَنِّیْ فَاِنِّیْ قَرِیْبٌ ؕ— اُجِیْبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ اِذَا دَعَانِ فَلْیَسْتَجِیْبُوْا لِیْ وَلْیُؤْمِنُوْا بِیْ لَعَلَّهُمْ یَرْشُدُوْنَ ۟
നിന്നോട് എൻ്റെ ദാസന്‍മാര്‍ എന്നെപ്പറ്റി ചോദിച്ചാല്‍ ഞാന്‍ (അവര്‍ക്ക് ഏറ്റവും) അടുത്തുള്ളവനാകുന്നു (എന്ന് പറയുക.) പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിക്കുന്നവന്‍ എന്നെ വിളിച്ച് പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിച്ചാല്‍ ഞാന്‍ ആ പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥനയ്ക്ക് ഉത്തരം നല്‍കുന്നതാണ്‌.(42) അതുകൊണ്ട് എൻ്റെ ആഹ്വാനം അവര്‍ സ്വീകരിക്കുകയും, എന്നില്‍ അവര്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യട്ടെ. അവര്‍ നേര്‍വഴി പ്രാപിക്കുവാന്‍ വേണ്ടിയാണിത്‌.
42 പ്രാര്‍ഥനയില്‍ അല്ലാഹുവിനും മനുഷ്യനുമിടക്ക് യാതൊരു മധ്യവര്‍ത്തിയുടെയും ആവശ്യമില്ലെന്ന് ഈ വചനം വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നു.
