Translation of the meanings Ayah: (273) Surah: Al-Baqarah
لِلْفُقَرَآءِ الَّذِیْنَ اُحْصِرُوْا فِیْ سَبِیْلِ اللّٰهِ لَا یَسْتَطِیْعُوْنَ ضَرْبًا فِی الْاَرْضِ ؗ— یَحْسَبُهُمُ الْجَاهِلُ اَغْنِیَآءَ مِنَ التَّعَفُّفِ ۚ— تَعْرِفُهُمْ بِسِیْمٰىهُمْ ۚ— لَا یَسْـَٔلُوْنَ النَّاسَ اِلْحَافًا ؕ— وَمَا تُنْفِقُوْا مِنْ خَیْرٍ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ بِهٖ عَلِیْمٌ ۟۠
ഭൂമിയില്‍ സഞ്ചരിച്ച് ഉപജീവനം തേടാന്‍ സൗകര്യപ്പെടാത്ത വിധം അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ മാര്‍ഗത്തില്‍ വ്യാപൃതരായിട്ടുള്ള ദരിദ്രന്‍മാര്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ടി (നിങ്ങള്‍ ചെലവ് ചെയ്യുക.) (അവരെപ്പറ്റി) അറിവില്ലാത്തവന്‍ (അവരുടെ) മാന്യത കണ്ട് അവര്‍ ധനികരാണെന്ന് ധരിച്ചേക്കും. എന്നാല്‍ അവരുടെ ലക്ഷണം കൊണ്ട് നിനക്കവരെ തിരിച്ചറിയാം. അവര്‍ ജനങ്ങളോട് ചോദിച്ച് വിഷമിപ്പിക്കുകയില്ല. നല്ലതായ എന്തൊന്ന് നിങ്ങള്‍ ചെലവഴിക്കുകയാണെങ്കിലും അല്ലാഹു അത് നല്ലത് പോലെ അറിയുന്നവനാണ്‌.
