Translation of the meanings Ayah: (24) Surah: Al-Mu’minūn
فَقَالَ الْمَلَؤُا الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ قَوْمِهٖ مَا هٰذَاۤ اِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ ۙ— یُرِیْدُ اَنْ یَّتَفَضَّلَ عَلَیْكُمْ ؕ— وَلَوْ شَآءَ اللّٰهُ لَاَنْزَلَ مَلٰٓىِٕكَةً ۖۚ— مَّا سَمِعْنَا بِهٰذَا فِیْۤ اٰبَآىِٕنَا الْاَوَّلِیْنَ ۟ۚۖ
അപ്പോള് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ജനതയിലെ സത്യനിഷേധികളായ പ്രമാണിമാര് പറഞ്ഞു: ഇവന് നിങ്ങളെപ്പോലെയുള്ള ഒരു മനുഷ്യന് മാത്രമാകുന്നു. നിങ്ങളേക്കാളുപരിയായി അവന് മഹത്വം നേടിയെടുക്കാന് ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു. അല്ലാഹു ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കില് അവന് (ദൂതന്മാരായി) മലക്കുകളെ തന്നെ ഇറക്കുമായിരുന്നു. ഞങ്ങളുടെ പൂര്വ്വപിതാക്കള്ക്കിടയില് ഇങ്ങനെയൊന്ന് ഞങ്ങള് കേട്ടിട്ടില്ല.
