Translation of the meanings Ayah: (18) Surah: Al-Furqān
قَالُوْا سُبْحٰنَكَ مَا كَانَ یَنْۢبَغِیْ لَنَاۤ اَنْ نَّتَّخِذَ مِنْ دُوْنِكَ مِنْ اَوْلِیَآءَ وَلٰكِنْ مَّتَّعْتَهُمْ وَاٰبَآءَهُمْ حَتّٰی نَسُوا الذِّكْرَ ۚ— وَكَانُوْا قَوْمًا بُوْرًا ۟
അവര് (ആരാധ്യര്) പറയും: നീ എത്ര പരിശുദ്ധന്! നിനക്ക് പുറമെ വല്ല രക്ഷാധികാരികളെയും സ്വീകരിക്കുക എന്നത് ഞങ്ങള്ക്ക് യോജിച്ചതല്ല. പക്ഷെ, അവര്ക്കും അവരുടെ പിതാക്കള്ക്കും നീ സൗഖ്യം നല്കി. അങ്ങനെ അവര് ഉല്ബോധനം മറന്നുകളയുകയും, നശിച്ച ഒരു ജനതയായിത്തീരുകയും ചെയ്തു.
