Translation of the meanings Ayah: (183) Surah: Āl-‘Imrān
اَلَّذِیْنَ قَالُوْۤا اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَهِدَ اِلَیْنَاۤ اَلَّا نُؤْمِنَ لِرَسُوْلٍ حَتّٰی یَاْتِیَنَا بِقُرْبَانٍ تَاْكُلُهُ النَّارُ ؕ— قُلْ قَدْ جَآءَكُمْ رُسُلٌ مِّنْ قَبْلِیْ بِالْبَیِّنٰتِ وَبِالَّذِیْ قُلْتُمْ فَلِمَ قَتَلْتُمُوْهُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِیْنَ ۟
ഞങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പാകെ ഒരു ബലി നടത്തി അതിനെ (ആകാശത്തു നിന്നു വരുന്ന) തീ തിന്നുകളയുന്നത് (ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് കാണിച്ചുതരുന്നത്‌) വരെ ഒരു റസൂലിലും ഞങ്ങള്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കരുതെന്ന് അല്ലാഹു ഞങ്ങളോട് കരാറു വാങ്ങിയിട്ടുണ്ട് എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞവരത്രെ അവര്‍. (നബിയേ,) പറയുക: വ്യക്തമായ തെളിവുകള്‍ സഹിതവും, നിങ്ങള്‍ ഈ പറഞ്ഞത് സഹിതവും എനിക്ക് മുമ്പ് പല ദൂതന്‍മാരും നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുത്ത് വന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്‌. എന്നിട്ട് നിങ്ങളുടെ വാദം സത്യമാണെങ്കില്‍ നിങ്ങളെന്തിന് അവരെ കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞു?
