Ayah: 42

وَاِذْ قَالَتِ الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةُ یٰمَرْیَمُ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ اصْطَفٰىكِ وَطَهَّرَكِ وَاصْطَفٰىكِ عَلٰی نِسَآءِ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ ۟
മലക്കുകള്‍ പറഞ്ഞ സന്ദര്‍ഭവും (ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക:) മര്‍യമേ, തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹു നിന്നെ പ്രത്യേകം തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുകയും, നിനക്ക് പരിശുദ്ധി നല്‍കുകയും, ലോകത്തുള്ള സ്ത്രീകളില്‍ വെച്ച് ഉല്‍കൃഷ്ടയായി നിന്നെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
