Translation of the meanings Ayah: (50) Surah: Āl-‘Imrān
وَمُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَیْنَ یَدَیَّ مِنَ التَّوْرٰىةِ وَلِاُحِلَّ لَكُمْ بَعْضَ الَّذِیْ حُرِّمَ عَلَیْكُمْ وَجِئْتُكُمْ بِاٰیَةٍ مِّنْ رَّبِّكُمْ ۫— فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَاَطِیْعُوْنِ ۟
എന്‍റെ മുമ്പിലുള്ള തൗറാത്തിനെ സത്യപ്പെടുത്തുന്നവനായിക്കൊണ്ടും നിങ്ങളുടെ മേല്‍ നിഷിദ്ധമാക്കപ്പെട്ട കാര്യങ്ങളില്‍ ചിലത് നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് അനുവദിച്ചു തരുവാന്‍ വേണ്ടിയുമാകുന്നു(10) (ഞാന്‍ നിയോഗിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുള്ളത്‌). നിങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കല്‍ നിന്നുള്ള ദൃഷ്ടാന്തവും നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഞാന്‍ കൊണ്ടു വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. ആകയാല്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ അല്ലാഹുവെ സൂക്ഷിക്കുകയും എന്നെ അനുസരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുവിന്‍.
10) യഹൂദന്‍മാരുടെ മേല്‍ അവരുടെ ധിക്കാരം നിമിത്തം അല്ലാഹു ചില കടുത്ത നിയമങ്ങള്‍ നടപ്പാക്കിയിരുന്നു. ഒട്ടകമാംസവും ശനിയാഴ്ച ജോലി എടുക്കലും അവര്‍ക്ക് നിഷിദ്ധമാക്കപ്പെട്ട കാര്യങ്ങളില്‍ പെടുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ ഈസാ നബി(عليه السلام) മുഖേന അല്ലാഹു ഇത്തരം നിയമങ്ങള്‍ ഇളവു ചെയ്തുകൊടുക്കുകയുണ്ടായി.
