Ayah: 67

مَا كَانَ اِبْرٰهِیْمُ یَهُوْدِیًّا وَّلَا نَصْرَانِیًّا وَّلٰكِنْ كَانَ حَنِیْفًا مُّسْلِمًا ؕ— وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِیْنَ ۟
ഇബ്രാഹീം യഹൂദനോ ക്രിസ്ത്യാനിയോ ആയിരുന്നില്ല. മറിച്ച് അദ്ദേഹം (ശിർക്കിൽ നിന്ന് പരിപൂർണമായി അകന്ന) ശുദ്ധമനസ്ഥിതിക്കാരനും (അല്ലാഹുവിന്ന്‌) കീഴ്പെട്ട (മുസ്‌ലിമും) ആയിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹം ബഹുദൈവാരാധകരില്‍പെട്ടവനായിരുന്നിട്ടുമില്ല.
