Translation of the meanings Ayah: (37) Surah: Ad-Dukhān
اَهُمْ خَیْرٌ اَمْ قَوْمُ تُبَّعٍ ۙ— وَّالَّذِیْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ ؕ— اَهْلَكْنٰهُمْ ؗ— اِنَّهُمْ كَانُوْا مُجْرِمِیْنَ ۟
ഇവരാണോ കൂടുതല് മെച്ചപ്പെട്ടവര്, അതല്ല തുബ്ബഇന്റെ ജനതയും(3) അവര്ക്കു മുമ്പുള്ളവരുമാണോ? അവരെയെല്ലാം നാം നശിപ്പിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി. കാരണം അവര് കുറ്റവാളികളായിരുന്നത് തന്നെ.
3) പുരാതന യമനിലെ ചക്രവര്ത്തിമാരുടെ സ്ഥാനപ്പേരോ കുടുംബനാമമോ ആണ് 'തുബ്ബഅ്'. ഈ രാജവംശത്തിന് ഒരു കാലത്ത് അറേബ്യന് ഉപഭൂഖണ്ഡത്തിലും ആഫ്രിക്കയുടെ പൂര്വതീരങ്ങളിലും ആധിപത്യമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
