Translation of the meanings Ayah: (138) Surah: Al-An‘ām
وَقَالُوْا هٰذِهٖۤ اَنْعَامٌ وَّحَرْثٌ حِجْرٌ ۖۗ— لَّا یَطْعَمُهَاۤ اِلَّا مَنْ نَّشَآءُ بِزَعْمِهِمْ وَاَنْعَامٌ حُرِّمَتْ ظُهُوْرُهَا وَاَنْعَامٌ لَّا یَذْكُرُوْنَ اسْمَ اللّٰهِ عَلَیْهَا افْتِرَآءً عَلَیْهِ ؕ— سَیَجْزِیْهِمْ بِمَا كَانُوْا یَفْتَرُوْنَ ۟
അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: ഇവ വിലക്കപ്പെട്ട കാലികളും കൃഷിയുമാകുന്നു. ഞങ്ങള്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്ന ചിലരല്ലാതെ അവ ഭക്ഷിച്ചു കൂടാ. അതവരുടെ ജല്‍പനമത്രെ. പുറത്ത് സവാരിചെയ്യുന്നത് നിഷിദ്ധമാക്കപ്പെട്ട ചില കാലികളുമുണ്ട്‌. വേറെ ചില കാലികളുമുണ്ട്‌; അവയുടെ മേല്‍ അവര്‍ അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ നാമം ഉച്ചരിക്കുകയില്ല. ഇതെല്ലാം അവന്‍റെ (അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ) പേരില്‍ കെട്ടിച്ചമച്ചുണ്ടാക്കിയതാണ്‌. അവര്‍ കെട്ടിച്ചമച്ച് കൊണ്ടിരുന്നതിന് തക്ക ഫലം അവന്‍ അവര്‍ക്ക് നല്‍കിക്കൊള്ളും.
