Ayah: 23

ثُمَّ لَمْ تَكُنْ فِتْنَتُهُمْ اِلَّاۤ اَنْ قَالُوْا وَاللّٰهِ رَبِّنَا مَا كُنَّا مُشْرِكِیْنَ ۟

അനന്തരം, അവരുടെ ന്യായം 'ഞങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവായ അല്ലാഹുവിനെത്തന്നെയാണെ സത്യം, ഞങ്ങള്‍ പങ്കുചേര്‍ക്കുന്നവരായിരുന്നില്ല' എന്ന് പറയുന്നതല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊന്നുമായിരിക്കില്ല.
