Translation of the meanings Ayah: (96) Surah: Al-An‘ām
فَالِقُ الْاِصْبَاحِ ۚ— وَجَعَلَ الَّیْلَ سَكَنًا وَّالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ حُسْبَانًا ؕ— ذٰلِكَ تَقْدِیْرُ الْعَزِیْزِ الْعَلِیْمِ ۟
പ്രഭാതത്തെ പിളര്‍ത്തിക്കൊണ്ട് വരുന്നവനാണവന്‍. രാത്രിയെ അവന്‍ ശാന്തമായ വിശ്രമവേളയാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. സൂര്യനെയും ചന്ദ്രനെയും കണക്കുകള്‍ക്ക് അടിസ്ഥാനവും (ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.)(23) പ്രതാപിയും സര്‍വ്വജ്ഞനുമായ അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ ക്രമീകരണമത്രെ അത്‌.
23) നാം ദിവസം കണക്കാക്കുന്നത് സൂര്യനുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെടുത്തിയാണ്. മാസം കണക്കാക്കുന്നത് ചന്ദ്രനുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെടുത്തിയും. ചാന്ദ്രവര്‍ഷവും സൗരവര്‍ഷവും ഈ വിധത്തിലുള്ള കാലഗണനയുടെ ഭാഗം തന്നെ.
