Translation of the meanings Ayah: (86) Surah: Al-A‘rāf
وَلَا تَقْعُدُوْا بِكُلِّ صِرَاطٍ تُوْعِدُوْنَ وَتَصُدُّوْنَ عَنْ سَبِیْلِ اللّٰهِ مَنْ اٰمَنَ بِهٖ وَتَبْغُوْنَهَا عِوَجًا ۚ— وَاذْكُرُوْۤا اِذْ كُنْتُمْ قَلِیْلًا فَكَثَّرَكُمْ ۪— وَانْظُرُوْا كَیْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُفْسِدِیْنَ ۟
ഭീഷണിയുണ്ടാക്കിക്കൊണ്ടും, അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ മാര്‍ഗത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് അതില്‍ വിശ്വസിച്ചവരെ തടഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടും അത് (ആ മാര്‍ഗം) വക്രമായിരിക്കാന്‍ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചുകൊണ്ടും നിങ്ങള്‍ പാതകളിലെല്ലാം ഇരിക്കുകയും അരുത്‌.(15) നിങ്ങള്‍ എണ്ണത്തില്‍ കുറവായിരുന്നിട്ടും നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് അവന്‍ വര്‍ദ്ധനവ് നല്‍കിയത് ഓര്‍ക്കുകയും നാശകാരികളുടെ പര്യവസാനം എങ്ങനെയായിരുന്നുവെന്ന് നോക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക.
15) അല്ലാഹുവിനെ നിഷേധിച്ചവരും, അളവുതൂക്കങ്ങളില്‍ കമ്മിവരുത്തുന്നവരുമായിരുന്നു ആ ജനത. ശുഐബ് നബി (عليه السلام) സത്യമതത്തിലേക്ക് ജനങ്ങളെ ക്ഷണിക്കാന്‍ തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോള്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തിൻ്റെ ഉല്‍ബോധനം കേള്‍ക്കാന്‍ പോകുന്നവരെ വഴിയില്‍ തടയാനാണ് അവര്‍ ഒരുമ്പെട്ടത്. സത്യദീനിനെ അഥവാ അല്ലാഹുവിൻ്റെ മാര്‍ഗത്തെ വക്രവും വികലവുമാക്കി ചിത്രീകരിക്കാനുള്ള ശ്രമവും അവര്‍ നടത്തിയിരുന്നു.
