Translation of the meanings Ayah: (48) Surah: Al-‘Ankabūt
وَمَا كُنْتَ تَتْلُوْا مِنْ قَبْلِهٖ مِنْ كِتٰبٍ وَّلَا تَخُطُّهٗ بِیَمِیْنِكَ اِذًا لَّارْتَابَ الْمُبْطِلُوْنَ ۟
അല്ലാഹുവിൻ്റെ റസൂലേ! താങ്കൾ ഖുർആനിന് മുൻപ് ഏതെങ്കിലുമൊരു ഗ്രന്ഥം വായിക്കുകയോ, താങ്കളുടെ വലതു കൈ കൊണ്ട് എന്തെങ്കിലുമൊന്ന് എഴുതുകയോ ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല. കാരണം താങ്കൾ നിരക്ഷരനാണ്; എഴുതാനോ വായിക്കാനോ താങ്കൾക്കറിയുകയില്ല. താങ്കൾ വായിക്കുകയും എഴുതുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്ന വ്യക്തിയായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ വിഡ്ഢികളായ ജനങ്ങൾക്ക് താങ്കളുടെ പ്രവാചകത്വത്തിൽ സംശയിക്കാമായിരുന്നു. മുൻപ് അവതരിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ട ഗ്രന്ഥങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് താങ്കൾ പകർത്തിയെഴുതിയതാണെന്ന് അവർ മുറവിളി കൂട്ടുകയും ചെയ്യുമായിരുന്നു.
