Al-Layl

Ayah: 1

وَالَّیْلِ اِذَا یَغْشٰی ۟ۙ
१. शपथ आहे रात्रीची जेव्हा ती पसरते.

وَالنَّهَارِ اِذَا تَجَلّٰی ۟ۙ
२. आणि शपथ आहे दिवसाची जेव्हा तो प्रकाशमान होतो.

وَمَا خَلَقَ الذَّكَرَ وَالْاُ ۟ۙ
३. आणि शपथ आहे त्याची ज्याने नर व मादी निर्माण केले.

اِنَّ سَعْیَكُمْ لَشَتّٰی ۟ؕ
४. निःसंशय, तुमचे प्रयत्न वेगवेगळ्या प्रकारचे आहेत.

فَاَمَّا مَنْ اَعْطٰی وَاتَّقٰی ۟ۙ
५. तर जो (अल्लाहच्या मार्गात) देत राहिला आणि भय बाळगत राहिला.

وَصَدَّقَ بِالْحُسْنٰی ۟ۙ
६. आणि भलाईपूर्ण गोष्टीचे सत्य-समर्थन करीत राहिला.

فَسَنُیَسِّرُهٗ لِلْیُسْرٰی ۟ؕ
७. तर आम्हीही त्याला सहज सुलभता प्रदान करू.

وَاَمَّا مَنْ بَخِلَ وَاسْتَغْنٰی ۟ۙ
८. परंतु ज्याने कंजूसी केली आणि बेपर्वाई दाखविली.

وَكَذَّبَ بِالْحُسْنٰی ۟ۙ
९. आणि सत्कर्माच्या गोष्टींना खोटे ठरविले.
