Translation of the meanings Ayah: (17) Surah: Al-Ahqāf
وَالَّذِیْ قَالَ لِوَالِدَیْهِ اُفٍّ لَّكُمَاۤ اَتَعِدٰنِنِیْۤ اَنْ اُخْرَجَ وَقَدْ خَلَتِ الْقُرُوْنُ مِنْ قَبْلِیْ ۚ— وَهُمَا یَسْتَغِیْثٰنِ اللّٰهَ وَیْلَكَ اٰمِنْ ۖۗ— اِنَّ وَعْدَ اللّٰهِ حَقٌّ ۚ— فَیَقُوْلُ مَا هٰذَاۤ اِلَّاۤ اَسَاطِیْرُ الْاَوَّلِیْنَ ۟
१७) र त्यो व्यक्ति जसले आफ्नो माता– पितासित भन्योः ‘‘तिमीसित म आजिज (हैरान) भइसकेको छु । तिमीले मलाई यही भनिरहन्छौ कि म मरेपछि फेरि जीवित गरिनेछु, जबकि मभन्दा पहिला पनि धेरै मानिसहरू गुज्रिसकेका छन्’’ र ती दुवैले अल्लाहसित विन्ति गर्दै भन्दछन्ः ‘‘अफशोच छ तिम्रो लागि मानिहाल ! निःसन्देह अल्लाहको वाचा सत्य छ ।’’ किन्तु त्यसले भन्दछ ‘‘यी त मात्र पहिलाका मानिसहरूका कथा हुन्” ।
