یُوْسُفُ اَیُّهَا الصِّدِّیْقُ اَفْتِنَا فِیْ سَبْعِ بَقَرٰتٍ سِمَانٍ یَّاْكُلُهُنَّ سَبْعٌ عِجَافٌ وَّسَبْعِ سُنْۢبُلٰتٍ خُضْرٍ وَّاُخَرَ یٰبِسٰتٍ ۙ— لَّعَلِّیْۤ اَرْجِعُ اِلَی النَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ یَعْلَمُوْنَ ۟
ای رښتیه یوسفه! مونږ ته ددې خوب معنا وښایه چې: اوه څربي غواګانې دي[۳۹] اوه خوارې غواګانې يي خوري او اوه شنه تازه وږي دي او اوه نور وچ. تر څو زه بیرته خلکو ته ورشم هیله ده چې هغوی پوه شي.
[۳۹] د (۷) څربو غواګانو معنا (۷) د کښت کلونه او د (۷) خوارو غواګانو معنا ده (۷) وچ کلونه.
