Translation of the meanings Ayah: (18) Surah: Yūsuf

Ayah: 18

وَجَآءُوْ عَلٰی قَمِیْصِهٖ بِدَمٍ كَذِبٍ ؕ— قَالَ بَلْ سَوَّلَتْ لَكُمْ اَنْفُسُكُمْ اَمْرًا ؕ— فَصَبْرٌ جَمِیْلٌ ؕ— وَاللّٰهُ الْمُسْتَعَانُ عَلٰی مَا تَصِفُوْنَ ۟
و پیراهن او را [آغشته] با خونی دروغین [برای یعقوب] آوردند. [او] گفت: «[چنین نیست؛] بلکه [هوای] نفس شما کاری [ناشایست] را برایتان آراسته است؛ پس صبرى نیكو [برایم بهتر است‌] و الله در [مورد] آنچه می‌گویید یاریگرِ [من‌] است».
