Translation of the meanings Ayah: (39) Surah: Āl-‘Imrān
فَنَادَتْهُ الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةُ وَهُوَ قَآىِٕمٌ یُّصَلِّیْ فِی الْمِحْرَابِ ۙ— اَنَّ اللّٰهَ یُبَشِّرُكَ بِیَحْیٰی مُصَدِّقًا بِكَلِمَةٍ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ وَسَیِّدًا وَّحَصُوْرًا وَّنَبِیًّا مِّنَ الصّٰلِحِیْنَ ۟
پس در حالی که او [= زکریا] ایستاده در عبادتگاه [خود] نماز می‌خواند، فرشتگان او را ندا دادند که: «الله تو را به [ولادتِ] یحیی بشارت می‌دهد [که] تصدیق‌کنندۀ کلمۀ الله [= عیسی] است و [در علم و عبادت، بر قوم خویش] سرور است و پارساست [= به شهوات توجهی ندارد] و پیامبری از شایستگان است».
