Ayah: 24

لِّیَجْزِیَ اللّٰهُ الصّٰدِقِیْنَ بِصِدْقِهِمْ وَیُعَذِّبَ الْمُنٰفِقِیْنَ اِنْ شَآءَ اَوْ یَتُوْبَ عَلَیْهِمْ ؕ— اِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ غَفُوْرًا رَّحِیْمًا ۟ۚ
[این رویدادها پیش می‌آید] تا الله راستگویان را به [پاسِ پایمردی و] راستگویی‌شان پاداش دهد و منافقان را اگر بخواهد [توفیق توبه را از آنان سلب نماید، و در نتیجه،] عذابشان کند یا [برایشان توفیق توبه دهد و] توبه‌شان را بپذیرد. بی‌تردید، الله آمرزندۀ مهربان است.
