Translation of the meanings Ayah: (165) Surah: Al-A‘rāf
فَلَمَّا نَسُوْا مَا ذُكِّرُوْا بِهٖۤ اَنْجَیْنَا الَّذِیْنَ یَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ السُّوْٓءِ وَاَخَذْنَا الَّذِیْنَ ظَلَمُوْا بِعَذَابٍۭ بَىِٕیْسٍ بِمَا كَانُوْا یَفْسُقُوْنَ ۟
اما چون آنچه را به آنان پند داده بودند به فراموشی سپردند، كسانى را كه از [كارِ] بد بازمى‌داشتند نجات دادیم و كسانى را كه [با نادیده گرفتن حکمِ الهی به خود] ستم کرده بودند ـ به سزاى آنكه نافرمانى مى‌كردند ـ به عذابى شدید گرفتار نمودیم.
