ਸੂਰਤ ਅਤ-ਤਕਾਸੁਰ

Ayah: 1

اَلْهٰىكُمُ التَّكَاثُرُ ۟ۙ
1਼ ਬਹੁਤਾ (ਧੰਨ) ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ (ਪਰਲੋਕ ਤੋਂ) ਬੇਖ਼ਬਰ ਕਰ ਛੱਡਿਆ ਹੈ।

حَتّٰی زُرْتُمُ الْمَقَابِرَ ۟ؕ
2਼ ਇੱਥੋਂ ਤਕ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਬਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਏ (ਭਾਵ ਮਰ ਗਏ)।

كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُوْنَ ۟ۙ
3਼ ਉੱਕਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਲਵੋਗੇ।

ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُوْنَ ۟ؕ
4਼ ਫੇਰ (ਸੁਣ ਲਵੋ) ਕਿ ਉੱਕਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਲਵੋਗੇ।

كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ عِلْمَ الْیَقِیْنِ ۟ؕ
5਼ ਉੱਕਾ ਨਹੀਂ, ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪੂਰੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਆਮਤ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਲੈਂਦੇ (ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬੇਖ਼ਬਰ ਨਾ ਹੁੰਦੇ)।

لَتَرَوُنَّ الْجَحِیْمَ ۟ۙ
6਼ ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਹੀ ਨਰਕ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖੋਗੇ।

ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَیْنَ الْیَقِیْنِ ۟ۙ
7਼ ਫੇਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਅੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਖੋਗੇ।

ثُمَّ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ یَوْمَىِٕذٍ عَنِ النَّعِیْمِ ۟۠
8਼ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਤੁਹਾਥੋਂ (ਰੱਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ) ਨਿਅਮਤਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।1
1 ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਨਿਅਮਤਾਂ ਮਿਲੀਆਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਹਨ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਹਜ਼ਰਤ ਅਬੂ-ਹੁਰੈਰਾ ਦੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਇਕ ਹਦੀਸ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਰਾਤ ਜਾਂ ਦਿਨ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਸੀ ਅੱਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਸੂਲ (ਸ:) ਬਾਹਰ ਆਏ ਤਾਂ ਹਜ਼ਰਤ ਅਬੂਬਕਰ ਤੇ ਹਜ਼ਰਤ ਉਮਰ (ਰਜ਼:) ਨੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕਿਉਂ ਆਏ ਹੋ? ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਭੁੱਖ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੇ ਅੱਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਸੂਲ!
