Translation of the meanings Ayah: (40) Surah: Al-Furqān
وَلَقَدْ اَتَوْا عَلَی الْقَرْیَةِ الَّتِیْۤ اُمْطِرَتْ مَطَرَ السَّوْءِ ؕ— اَفَلَمْ یَكُوْنُوْا یَرَوْنَهَا ۚ— بَلْ كَانُوْا لَا یَرْجُوْنَ نُشُوْرًا ۟
40਼ ਇਹ (ਮੱਕੇ ਦੇ) ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਬਸਤੀ ਦੇ ਨੇੜ੍ਹਿਓ ਹੀ ਲੰਘਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਬੜੀ ਭੈੜੀ (ਪੱਥਰਾਂ ਦੀ) ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ। ਕੀ ਇਹ ਫੇਰ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖਦੇ ? ਸੱਚੀ ਗੱਲ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਰਨ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਮੁੜ ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਆਸ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ।
