Translation of the meanings Ayah: (66) Surah: An-Nisā’
وَلَوْ اَنَّا كَتَبْنَا عَلَیْهِمْ اَنِ اقْتُلُوْۤا اَنْفُسَكُمْ اَوِ اخْرُجُوْا مِنْ دِیَارِكُمْ مَّا فَعَلُوْهُ اِلَّا قَلِیْلٌ مِّنْهُمْ ؕ— وَلَوْ اَنَّهُمْ فَعَلُوْا مَا یُوْعَظُوْنَ بِهٖ لَكَانَ خَیْرًا لَّهُمْ وَاَشَدَّ تَثْبِیْتًا ۟ۙ
66਼ ਜੇਕਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਲਈ (ਬਨੀ ਇਸਰਾਈਲ ਵਾਂਗ) ਫ਼ਰਜ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਕਿ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਕਤਲ ਕਰ ਦਿਓ ਜਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਕਲ ਜਾਓ, ਤਾਂ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਘੱਟ ਲੋਕ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਮੰਨਦੇ। ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਉਹੀਓ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਜਿਸ ਲਈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸੀਹਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੇ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਚੰਗੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ (ਧਰਮ ਵਿਚ) ਦ੍ਰਿੜਤਾ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ।
