Translation of the meanings Ayah: (37) Surah: Ash-Shūra
وَالَّذِیْنَ یَجْتَنِبُوْنَ كَبٰٓىِٕرَ الْاِثْمِ وَالْفَوَاحِشَ وَاِذَا مَا غَضِبُوْا هُمْ یَغْفِرُوْنَ ۟ۚ
37਼ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਈਮਾਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮਹਾਂ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਤੇ ਅਸ਼ਲੀਲ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਦੇ ਹਨ 1 ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਗ਼ੁੱਸਾ ਆਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਮੁਆਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
1 ਮਹਾਂ ਪਾਪ ਤੋਂ ਭਾਵ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅੱਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਦੀ ਇਬਾਦਤ ਕਰਨਾ, ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਨਾ-ਫ਼ਰਮਾਨੀ ਕਰਨਾ, ਅਣ-ਹੱਕਾ ਕਤਲ ਕਰਨਾ, ਝੂਠੀ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਦੇਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਚੋਰੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਆਦਿ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੈ।
