Translation of the meanings Ayah: (6) Surah: Al-Hujurāt
یٰۤاَیُّهَا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْۤا اِنْ جَآءَكُمْ فَاسِقٌ بِنَبَاٍ فَتَبَیَّنُوْۤا اَنْ تُصِیْبُوْا قَوْمًا بِجَهَالَةٍ فَتُصْبِحُوْا عَلٰی مَا فَعَلْتُمْ نٰدِمِیْنَ ۟
6਼ ਹੇ ਈਮਾਨ ਵਾਲਿਓ! ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਝੂਠਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਦੇਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ-ਪੜ੍ਹਤਾਲ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਕਰੋ। ਇੰਜ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਕੌਮ ਨੂੰ ਅਣਜਾਣਪੁਣੇ ਵਿਚ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਪੁਚਾ ਬੈਠੋ ਅਤੇ ਫੇਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਰਨੀ ’ਤੇ ਪਛਤਾਵਾ ਹੋਵੇ।
