Translation of the meanings Ayah: (25) Surah: Al-An‘ām
وَمِنْهُمْ مَّنْ یَّسْتَمِعُ اِلَیْكَ ۚ— وَجَعَلْنَا عَلٰی قُلُوْبِهِمْ اَكِنَّةً اَنْ یَّفْقَهُوْهُ وَفِیْۤ اٰذَانِهِمْ وَقْرًا ؕ— وَاِنْ یَّرَوْا كُلَّ اٰیَةٍ لَّا یُؤْمِنُوْا بِهَا ؕ— حَتّٰۤی اِذَا جَآءُوْكَ یُجَادِلُوْنَكَ یَقُوْلُ الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْۤا اِنْ هٰذَاۤ اِلَّاۤ اَسَاطِیْرُ الْاَوَّلِیْنَ ۟
25਼ ਇਹਨਾਂ (ਮੱਕੇ ਦੇ ਕਾਫ਼ਿਰਾਂ) ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੁੱਝ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਕੰਨ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਦ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਲਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਪੜਦੇ ਪਾ ਛੱਡੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਸਮਝ ਹੀ ਨਾ ਸਕਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਡਾਟ ਪਾ ਰੱਖੀ ਹੇ, ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਦਲੀਲਾਂ (ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੀਆਂ) ਵੇਖ ਲੈਣ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਈਮਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਿਆਉਣਗੇ। ਜਦੋਂ ਇਹ ਲੋਕੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੱਲੋ-ਮੱਲੀ ਬਹਿਸਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਲੋਕੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਕਾਫ਼ਿਰ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਇਹ (.ਕੁਰਆਨ) ਤਾਂ ਕੁੱਝ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੇਵਲ ਬੇ-ਦਲੀਲ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਹਨ, ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਚੱਲੀਆਂ ਆ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
