Translation of the meanings Ayah: (9) Surah: Al-Jumu‘ah
یٰۤاَیُّهَا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْۤا اِذَا نُوْدِیَ لِلصَّلٰوةِ مِنْ یَّوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ فَاسْعَوْا اِلٰی ذِكْرِ اللّٰهِ وَذَرُوا الْبَیْعَ ؕ— ذٰلِكُمْ خَیْرٌ لَّكُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ ۟
9਼ ਹੇ ਈਮਾਨ ਵਾਲਿਓ! ਜਦੋਂ ਜੁਮੇ (ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ) ਦੇ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ ਨਮਾਜ਼ ਲਈ ਅਜ਼ਾਨ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅੱਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ (ਭਾਵ ਨਮਾਜ਼ ਲਈ ਮਸੀਤ ਵੱਲ) ਨੱਸੋ ਅਤੇ ਖ਼ਰੀਦ-ਵੇਚ (ਵਪਾਰ) ਕਰਨਾ ਛੱਡ ਦਿਓ। ਇਹੋ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੈ ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ।
