Ayah: 8

وَكَاَیِّنْ مِّنْ قَرْیَةٍ عَتَتْ عَنْ اَمْرِ رَبِّهَا وَرُسُلِهٖ فَحَاسَبْنٰهَا حِسَابًا شَدِیْدًا وَّعَذَّبْنٰهَا عَذَابًا نُّكْرًا ۟

8਼ ਕਿੰਨੀਆਂ ਹੀ ਬਸਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਰੱਬ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਰਸੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਰਕਸ਼ੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਤਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਲੇਖਾ-ਜੋਖਾ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਰੜੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
